Burt and Karen Place of Camas will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, from 4 to 9 p.m., at the AWPPW Union Hall, 514 N.E. Dallas St., in Camas.

The couple was married Sept. 2, 1960. Burt is retired from the Crown Zellerbach paper mill. Karen is retired after working for the Camas School District, the Camas mill and Clark County.
