Parker House is demolished

Crews with RSV Building Solutions and Nutter Corporation began demolishing the Parker House Restaurant building this morning. A demolition sale, featuring sinks, light fixtures, beams, timbers, commercial air conditioners, doors and a few tables and chairs, will be open to the public Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the restaurant's former parking lot, 56 S. First St., Washougal. There are plans to construct The Black Pearl on the Columbia at the former Parker House site. The two-story restaurant, designed to seat 250 guests, is expected to open in the spring of 2011. Additional photos can be viewed at www.camaspostrecord.com.
