A life celebration was held at K’ Syrah Bistro in Camas on Sunday. His ashes will be inurned at the Camas Cemetery.

Herman ‘Bud’ J. Schreiner Jr.

Herman J. “Bud” Schreiner Jr. died Oct. 30, 2010, in Vancouver. He was 80.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m., at Camas Nazarene Church, 2204 N.E. Birch St., Camas. A private service was held Nov. 4 at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Ore.

Memorial donations can be made to the Camas Nazarene Church or a charity of choice.

Gladys I. Thornton

Gladys I. Thornton died Nov. 6, 2010. She was 87.

She was born Jan. 20, 1923, in Ruskin, Neb. A graveside service will be held Friday, at 1 p.m., at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements. A complete obituary will be published in next week’s Post-Record.
