Doris D. Armstrong

Doris “Queenie” Darlene (Skadsen) Armstrong died peacefully Oct. 9, 2010, at Providence Medical Center in Portland, Ore. She was 79.

There will be a celebration of Doris’ life Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m., at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas. Viewing will be held on Thursday, Oct. 14, from noon to 5 p.m., at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas. Vault interment will be held at the Camas Cemetery. Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial donations can be made to the Portland Humane Society.

Mary Ella (Smith) Johnson

Mary Ella (Smith) Johnson died Oct. 7, 2010, after battling Alzheimer’s disease. She was 85.

There will be no public services. Interment will be held in Alabama. Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Chester ‘Bud’ J. Rischman

Chester “Bud” John Rischman died peacefully Oct. 9, 2010, at his home in Washougal. He was 88.

There will be no local services. A private graveside service will be held in Cyprus, Calif., where Bud will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Linda Kay Purkeypyle died Oct. 8, 2010. She was 67.
