Individuals who attended the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce grand opening and ribbon cutting event at Camas SNAP Fitness 24/7 had opportunities to try out the Matrix and Cybex equipment, as well as meet the owners Doug and Jodi Vaughan (not pictured). The April 7 event also included complimentary wine and cheese, raffle prizes and giveaways. SNAP Fitness is located in Lacamas Center.

A local couple has opened their third SNAP Fitness location – a 24-hour center in Camas.

Doug and Jodi Vaughan also own SNAP facilities in Woodland and Battle Ground, as well as Caffe Piccolo, in downtown Camas.

The SNAP Fitness facilities offer cardio and strength-training equipment, group exercise classes, tanning, and private and small group personal training. Month-to-month memberships are available.

Each membership includes a complimentary fitness consultation with a certified personal trainer, equipment instruction and workout plan. Members also receive personalized keycards that provide access to more than 1,000 Snap Fitness 24/7 locations across the U.S.

Each member can create a personal web page to access training services to create and track workouts as well as nutrition and meal planning.

“Our passion is to help people improve their life through better health and fitness – whether it’s their first time in a gym or they are a performance athlete,” Doug Vaughan said.

The Vaughans moved to Camas in 2000, after living in France for three years. Doug worked for Hewlett-Packard at the time.

Camas SNAP Fitness 24/7 is located in the Lacamas Center at 3316 N.E. Third Ave. For more information, call 844-5584, email camas@snapfitness.com or visit www.snapfitness.com/camas.
