The owner of Lily Atelier and Luxe, in downtown Camas, has opened Fleurish – a shop that sells gifts and home decor – in the 192nd Plaza.

Dawn Stanchfield will host the grand opening of Fleurish Tuesday, Jan. 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. Desserts and cocktails will be available. There is no cost to attend.

Authors Susan Glavin of Camas and Angie Cherry of Washougal, along with Debbie Oliver and Cheri Anderson, will attend and sign copies of their new book “Be the Gift.” The books, which sell for $19.95 each, include sections about connecting, inspiring and acting.

Also at the event, the authors will have examples of the “Table Game” available to purchase.

Each game includes a card deck with 55 questions.

“The Table Game is a great way to connect to family and friends at the dinner table or any table, car or team building event,” Glavin said. “The idea came after my first grandson was born, and I started having weekly family dinners at my home. After our first dinner and a high expectation for family connection, I realized we needed some support. The Table Game was birthed.”

Glavin, Cherry, Oliver and Anderson have also created “Be the Gift” cards, which feature messages such as “errand free day,” “project pal,” “workout buddy” and “girls night out.”

“The gift cards are about connecting, giving of our time or allowing someone else to take the time they may need,” Glavin said.

Ten percent of the proceeds collected during the event will benefit Community Services Northwest, YWCA of Vancouver and Northwest Children’s Outreach. The three organizations will receive 100 percent of the beverage sales.

Fleurish, 2011 S.E. 192nd Ave., Ste. 102, is open Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, from noon to 4 p.m. For more information, call 834-9225.
