After a barrage of constant rain over the weekend, a landslide closed both directions of Highway 14 on Sunday.

According to a WSDOT bulletin, SR-14 near Cape Horn milepost 27 was closed following a late-morning landslide. Crews cleared hundreds of cubic yards of rocks, mud and trees from the highway, which re-opened just after 4 p.m.

Heavy rain, slides and flooding are impacting a number of highways across the state. Crews are continuing to work on clearing slides on state Route 411 between Kelso and Castle Rock, and state Route 508 at Bear Canyon, northwest of Morton.
