Students named to honor roll

The following local students have been named to the President’s Honor Roll at Washington State University for the fall term.

To be named to the honor roll, a student must either earn a cumulative 3.5 GPA and take at least 15 graded credits or have a 3.75 GPA and take nine graded credits. The students are:

There is preschool/kindergarten open house at Camas Montessori School, Wednesday, Jan. 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Camas Friends Church, 1004 N.E. Fourth Ave.

CYT to perform ‘The Hobbit’

Christian Youth Theatre will perform “The Hobbit,” based on JRR Tolkien’s classic novel, at Washburn Performing Arts Center at Washougal High School, 1201 39th St. Performance times are at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18 and 25; 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19 and 26; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20 and 27.

Adult tickets are $12. Youth, senior and group tickets are $9. All tickets will cost $2 more at the door. Tickets are on sale now at www.cytvanport.org.

Special performances for school groups will be Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 9:30 and 11:45 a.m. Teachers can call 750-8550 to reserve seats.
