Flag Day committee will meet Thursday

Several local residents are already planning to participate in a Flag Day ceremony next year.

The ceremony, scheduled for Saturday, June 9, will support patriotism and educate residents about flag etiquette, according to Washougal City Councilman Dave Shoemaker.

A committee meeting is set for Thursday, at 7 p.m., in the Washougal Community Center, 1681 “C” St. All interested citizens are invited to attend. For more information, call Shoemaker at 210-4654.
