Carlos E. Slaughter

Carlos Eugene Slaughter died June 23, 2011, in Camas. He was 22.

Carlos worked for the Eastern Washington University Alumni Association. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the University’s Alumni Association: 506 “F” St., Cheney, WA 99004, 509-359-4550.

A candlelight vigil for Carlos will be held today, at 7 p.m., at Brown’s Funeral Home, 410 N.E. Garfield St. Camas. Private burial will be held at Pilot Butte Cemetery in Bend, Ore. Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Michael Lee Willman

Michael Willman died June 21, 2011. He was 61.

His life will be celebrated Thursday, at 2 p.m., at Straub’s Funeral Home, 325 N.E. Third Ave., Camas.

Ed Spencer

Ed Spencer died June 26, 2011 at his home in Washougal. He was 72.

He was born Oct. 15, 1938, in Port Jervis, N.Y.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 1, 2011, at 1 p.m., at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas. Inurnment with full military honors will follow at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.

Jessie (Holmes) Tompkins

Jessie (Holmes) Tompkins died June 3, 2011, in Spokane, Wash. She was 96.

A memorial service will be held July 16, at 11 a.m., at Fern Prairie United Methodist Church.
