Nielsen Shirley Vella Nielsen died March 24, 2011, in Portland, Ore. She was 80. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held Thursday, at 11 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Fisher's Landing Ward, 13600 Southeast McGillivray Blvd., Vancouver. Viewing will be held at the church from 10 to 11 a.m., in the Relief Society Room. Vault interment will follow at 1:30 p.m., at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, 11801 S.E.
