Lacamas Community Credit Union is remodeling its 192nd Avenue Branch at 19200 S.E. 31st St., in Camas.

The remodel coincides with expansion of the credit union’s 24/7 service access, including mobile banking, remote deposit capture, ATM upgrades, live chat and other electronic services.

Opened in 2002, the branch’s interior space will be re-configured to create a new space for members to interact with technology, staff and each other. The branch will remain open for service during construction.

During a final phase of construction in late August, the lobby will close for about two weeks, with service available through the drive-through window and ATM. The lobby is projected to reopen around Sept. 10.

“It is an integral part of the Lacamas mission to be convenient to our members. We know people are busy today and need more flexibility for their banking services,” said President/CEO Kathleen Romane. “We are excited to enhance the Lacamas experience with the remodel of our centrally located 192nd Avenue Branch and implementation of other new technologies.”

Lacamas Community Credit Union was the first credit union established in Southwest Washington, chartered in 1936. It serves its members through six branch locations in Clark and Skamania counties as well as online banking.
