Stafford-Whetzel
Mandy Gibson of Stafford, Va., and William Whetzel, of Washougal, have announced their plans to be married June 21, 2013, in Stevenson.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Chuck and Kathy Gibson. She is a graduate of Brooke Point High School in Virginia and currently works as a special events coordinator for Marine Corps Community Services in Washington, D.C.
The groom-to-be is the son of Donna and Lee Whetzel. He is a graduate of Washougal High School and serves in the United States Marines.
William and Mandy met while he was stationed in Washington D.C. at Marine Barracks Washington 8th and she worked for the White House Communications Agency. William is currently serving in Afghanistan, and the couple will be married when he returns home in the spring.
