Hughes
Allie Knight of Camas and Michael Hughes of Green River, Wyo., were married Aug. 18, 2012, in the LDS Jordan River Temple in South Jordan, Utah, followed by a reception at Thanksgiving Point in The Tropical Room in Lehi, Utah. A second reception honoring the couple was held in Camas Aug. 25, at the home of Jonathan and Susan Neff.
The bride is the daughter of Kelly and Nadine Knight of Camas. A 2010 graduate of Camas High School, she transferred from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah to the University of Washington in Seattle, where she is a junior and studying accounting.
The groom is the son of Bryan and Kelly Hughes of Green River. Michael graduated from Green River High School in 2005 and from Brigham Young University in Provo in 2012 with a degree in information technology with an emphasis in system administration. He served two years in the LDS Washington Tacoma Mission. He is employed by Boeing in Seattle.
The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Hillary Knight. The bridesmaids were the bride’s other sisters, Kimberly, Stephanie and Rebecca Knight, and the groom’s sisters, Jamie Cudney and Stephanie Lemon.
The best man in Utah was Aaron Pinkerton, with the groom’s brothers-in-law, Bobby Cudney and Jeremiah Lemon, and the bride’s brother, Michael Knight, as groomsmen. The best man in Washington was Bobby Cudney.
The couple resides in Newcastle, Wash.
