One man was arrested this morning following a police raid on a Camas house.

As part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation, detectives from the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force and the Camas Police Department issued a search warrant at 1215 Division St., in a residential neighborhood. During the search officers located marijuana, ecstasy, and an undisclosed amount of cash believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking.

Arrested was Brett D. Renfroe, 44, on multiple charges related to the delivery and possession of controlled substances. According to a press release, during the course of the investigation, drug task force detectives were able to purchase marijuana from Renfroe at his residence.

Renfroe was booked at the Clark County Jail on multiple counts of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Task Force Commander Mike Cooke said alleged illegal activities at the house had been an issue for neighbors.

“There were significant community concerns about the drug trafficking occurring at this house,” Cooke said. “We hope this brings some relief to the neighbors who just want to enjoy a peaceful place to live and raise families.”
