Ronald R. Freed

Ronald Ray Freed died Feb. 24, 2013, at his home in Camas. He was 81.

Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements. No public service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Camas Fire Department EMS Fund, 616 N.E. Fourth Ave., Ste. 1, Camas, WA 98607.

Marilyn Clark Seeds

Marilyn Clark Seeds, longtime Camas resident, died March 3, 2013, in Longview, Wash., after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Services will be held Monday, at 10:30 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church in Camas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America Research Fund at www.alz.org.

Paul J. Frost

Paul Joseph Frost died Feb. 22, 2013, in Burlington, Wash., of complications from old age.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Eleanor.

A memorial mass will be held Wednesday, March 27, at 3:30 p.m., at St. Charles Church in Burlington.

Margaret H. Smith

Margaret H. Smith died Feb. 9, 2013, in Kirkland, Wash., surrounded by her family. She was 98.

Private family services were held.

Ardis A. Nichols

Ardis A. Nichols died peacefully at home Feb. 27, 2013, surrounded by her family. She was 82.

A small family graveside service will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas. Later that day, there will be a family and friends open house at 763 “G” St., Washougal from 2 to 5 p.m., to celebrate and remember Ardis’ life.

In lieu of flowers, Ardis specially asked that people give to one another in life-giving ways. For example, sharing a meal with a potential friend or helping people who cannot help themselves.
