A duo from Nashville will perform at Caps N’ Taps in Camas on Aug. 30.

Since uprooting from their home and full-time jobs in June 2012, husband and wife duo Cie and Karisa Hoover, also known as “You Knew Me When,” have been touring North America. They also released their first studio album “You, Me, and the Rest of the World,” which is described as “a fusion of progressive indie-rock and folk compositions infused with a myriad of stirring beats.”

You Knew Me When will perform at the tap room and bottle shop, located at 337 N.E. Fourth Ave., beginning at 8 p.m. There is no cover charge.

Karisa, a former Nashville public school teacher, provides vocals, as well as piano, ukulele and glockenspiel. Cie, who spent several years as the global events manager for Gibson Guitar, supplies vocals, in addition to guitar and rhythmic nuances. They plan to record their second studio album later this year.
