News, Wellness Free lunches will be served again this summer at Hathaway Elementary School, 630 24th St., Washougal.
Hot lunches and sack lunches will be offered. Children through age 18 are eligible for the program, regardless of family income level. There is no paperwork to fill out.
Lunch will be served weekdays, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., from July 7 to Aug. 15. Breakfast will also be served this summer, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Food must be consumed in the cafeteria.
The food program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, to ensure that children that might otherwise go hungry have access to a good meal during the summer months.
