Harold ‘Wes’ Acker Jr.

Harold “Wes” Acker Jr. died May 18, 2014, at home in Washougal. He was 82.

Wes donated his body to OHSU. His ashes will eventually be spread among the trees at home.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 31, from 2 to 5:30 p.m., at the American Legion Hall, 10221 Washougal River Road. The celebration will begin with an honor guard salute, followed with a light buffet.

William ‘Bill’ Willingham

William “Bill” Willingham died May 18, 2014.

Viewing will be May 28, at 10 a.m., at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 11801 S.E. Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland, OR, followed by services at 12:30 p.m., presided over by Dale Dutter, with Masonic services performed by Bill’s brother, Albert. Military burial will be at 1:30 p.m., at Willamette National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org, or the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, www.tsrhc.org.

James A. Nelson

James Alan (Jim) (Maddog) Nelson died May 12, 2014, after a morning ride on his quad in the desert behind his home in Florence, Ariz.

A celebration of life and potluck will be held Saturday, May 31, at 3 p.m., at the Homestead Tavern, 2561 Belle Center Road, Washougal, WA 98671.
