Journey Theater Arts Group will present a musical adaptation of “White Christmas,” which features 17 Irving Berlin songs, at the Washburn Performing Arts Center at Washougal High School, 1201 39th St.

In the story, veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former Army commander. The score features well known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean?” and “White Christmas.”

Performances run from Friday, Dec. 5 through Sunday, Dec. 14. Tickets are available at journeytheater.org or by calling 750-8550. Pre-sale adult tickets are $12. Youth and senior tickets are $10. The Dec. 6 showing at 7 p.m. is a family day performance with all tickets $10 in advance.
