News, News Area residents are invited to participate in the “Wreaths Across America” program.
A ceremony to honor fallen heroes will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the Camas Cemetery, 630 N.E. Oak St.
The occasion will involve Camas-Washougal Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4278, Boy Scout Troop 565 and Cub Scout Pack 424.
The people who attend will have an opportunity to help place the sponsored wreaths on veterans’ graves.
VFW Post 4278 Adjutant Dana Difford said there are approximately 800 veterans buried at the Camas Cemetery.
