The Camas boys racked up 522 points to win the 13 high school Southwest Washington Invitational Saturday, at the Dick Mealy Memorial Pool, in Longview.
Mark Kim, Kasey Calwell, Lucas Ulmer and Jeff Fadlovich clinched first place for Camas in the 400-meter freestyle relay with a state qualifying time of 3 minutes, 23.11 seconds. Kim’s lead off 100 freestyle time of 50.05 seconds also qualified him for state individually.
Fadlovich, Calwell, Kim and Luke Albert finished first in the 200 medley relay (1:45.82). Calwell also earned first place in the 500 freestyle (4:53.13) and second place in the 50 freestyle (22.66) with state qualifying times in each event.
Max Crowson, Ulmer, Albert and Andrey Khabibrakhmanov snagged second place in the 200 freestyle relay (1:36.74). Kevin Wang, Khabibrakhmanov, Finn McClone and Noah Macia claimed fifth place in the 400 freestyle relay (3:50.25). Max Urbanek, McClone, Wang and Macia secured seventh place in the 200 freestyle relay (1:43.54).
Ulmer took third place (1:51.93) and Fadlovich followed in fourth place (1:57.49) in the 200 freestyle. Kim placed third (51.26), McClone earned eighth (54.39) and Khabibrakhmanov notched ninth (54.57) in the 100 freestyle.
