Clark County Councilor David Madore will present the State of the County address Thursday, March 12, along with Councilors Jeanne Stewart and Tom Mielke.
The event will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Skyview High School, 1300 N.W. 139th St., in the Salmon Creek area.
Plans call for newly elected Sheriff Chuck E. Atkins and newly appointed Acting County Manager Mark McCauley to be on hand for short presentations.
The councilors also will recognize volunteers for extraordinary efforts in 2014.
Donations of non-perishable food, household supplies and money will be accepted for local food banks. A food drive has been a key part of State of the County event in recent years. Donations in 2014 provided nearly 3,000 meals.
The State of the County will be replayed on CVTV channels 21 and 23, and will be available to view at www.cvtv.org.
