Norma Dean (Shaw) Freed died Feb. 24, 2015, exactly two years to the day after her beloved late husband Ron.

No public service will be held. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Norman C. Danielson

Norman Carl Danielson died Feb. 12, 2015, at his home in Camas. He was 99.

He was born March 24, 1915, in Colton, Ore.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, March 9, at 11 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church in Camas. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Evelyn Spellman

Evelyn Spellman died peacefully in the home she helped build and lived in for almost 70 years. She was 89.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7, at 11 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church in Camas. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.

Aldon E. Peterson

Aldon Earle Peterson died Feb. 24, 2015, in Garden City, Idaho. He was 87.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 6, at 11 a.m., at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life ceremony at Gateway Community Church in Washougal at 1 p.m. Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Marjorie E. Shadel Anderson

Marjorie E. Shadel Anderson, died Feb. 24, 2015, in Vancouver. She was 73.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, March 6 at 11:30 a.m., at St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Camas. A light reception will follow. Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.

Nicholas A. Gustafson

Nicholas Alan Gustafson, of Washougal, died Feb. 28, 2015, with his family by his side. He was 6.

There will be a funeral mass Tuesday, March 10, at 11 a.m., at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 17010 N.E. Ninth St., Vancouver. A reception will follow. Private interment will be held at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. The family requests that those in attendance wear some green as that was Nick’s favorite color. Merrill ‘Bob’ Meyer

Merrill “Bob” Meyer, of Washougal, died Feb. 25, 2015. He was 72.

He was born Nov. 25, 1942, in Wrangell, Alaska. At his request, there will be no public services. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.

Pauline Priscilla Crosby died Feb. 26, 2015. She was 98.

Elizabeth Hart

Elizabeth Hart died Feb. 4, 2014. She was 87.

A graveside service and burial was held Feb. 9 at Willamette National Cemetery. A celebration of life was held Feb. 21 at Trinity Bible Church in Portland. Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas was in charge of arrangements.

Michael Lewis

Michael K. Lewis, beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather, died Feb. 26, 2015, at his home in Camas.

A viewing is Wednesday March 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Straub’s Funeral home in Camas. A celebration of life is Saturday March 7, at 3 p.m., at the Camas-Washougal Wildlife League.

Ted C. Kinart

Ted C. Kinart died Feb. 21, 2015, at his home in Green Valley, Ariz., after a long illness.

Ted was born Sept. 13, 1936, in Moorhead, Iowa, to Clarence M. and Leona P. (Nelson) Kinart. Ted was proud of his career as president and CEO of savings and loan associations in Washington and Arizona. He also served on the board of the Federal Home Loan Bank.

Ted is survived by his wife, Nancy of Green Valley; daughter, Julie Kinart-Havrelly and her husband Wayne of Camas; sons, Jeffrey Kinart and his wife Heidi of Vancouver B.C. Canada, Tyler Kinart and his wife Janell and Blake Kinart and Kim, all of Tucson, Ariz.; brothers, Lee Kinart and his wife Jeanne of Washougal, Dick Kinart and his wife Andrea of Moses Lake, Wash.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ted was preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine E. Duvall; and brothers, Keith N. Kinart, Paul E. Kinart and Eldon D. Kinart.

Ted’s ashes will be scattered at a private family ceremony. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
