John K. Medlin

John Keven Medlin died March 16, 2015.

In keeping with the man John was, someone who loved to sing, play games and laugh, a family game night, including Texas Hold ‘Em (his favorite), will be held in his honor. This celebration of his life will be held May 9, at 5 p.m., at Skamania School. Families, friends and anyone whose life was touched by John are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Skamania School, 122 Butler Loop Road, Skamania, WA 98648.

Corinne M. Akers

Corinne M. Akers died March 14, 2015, at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. She was 81.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Walter E. Hilt

Walter Edmund Hilt died March 19, 2015. He was 92.

Private military honors will take place March 26 at Willamette National Cemetery. Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Robert Carr

Robert Carr died March 12, 2015. He was 80.

He was born March 5, 1935, in Parkdale, Mont. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 4, at 1 p.m., at the American Legion Hall in Hazel Dell. Private inurnment will be at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.

Wes Coley

Wes Coley died March 8, 2015. He was 84.

He was born Jan. 31, 1931, in Leedey, Okla. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 25 at 3 p.m., at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.

Jerry L. Weber Sr.

Jerry Lee Weber Sr. died March 20, 2015. He was 77.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held Saturday, March 28, at 2 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas. Interment will be at Park Hill Cemetery on Monday, March 30.

Rodger L. Roberts

Rodger L. Roberts died March 22, 2015, in Portland, Ore. He was 70.

He was born July 25, 1944, in Indianapolis, Ind. Private services will be held at a later date. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of arrangements.

Lloyd B. Carroll

Lloyd Beecher Carroll died March 12, 2015, in Vancouver. He was 69.

Lloyd was born Sept. 1, 1945, in Loudan, Tenn., and was raised in Washougal. Lloyd was drafted into the Army and served in the Vietnam War as part of the 147th Aviation Company. He then became a long haul truck driver and dispatcher.

He is survived by his mother, Almeta Carroll; loving wife of 30 years, Sharon Carroll; daughters, Tracy Fulps, Tammy Hoover and Trisha Kellar; son, David Martin; honorary daughter, Heather Peck; brothers, Robert, Danny and Erick; sisters, Esther Ofria, Erne Carroll and KD Carroll; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services are currently being planned for June at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation in honor of daughter Tracy Fulps and the Bleeding Disorder Foundation of Washington in honor of grandson Ethan Kellar.
