The Clark County Community Development Permit Center is adjusting operations to improve customer service during the 2015 construction season.

As of March 25, the permit center began reserving Wednesdays for appointments, animal licenses and payments, according to Community Development Director Marty Snell.

By May 6, walk-in service will be phased out on Wednesdays. However, walk-in service will remain available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

The permit center is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments are available and encouraged throughout the week.

“By scheduling our services more efficiently, we can help others manage projects more efficiently,” Snell said. “Considering the nature and volume of our business, this new schedule will be a step forward for everyone who has a project in the pipeline.”

For an appointment, send an email to permitservicesappt@clark.wa.gov or call (360) 397-2375, Ext. 4807.
