Russau-Heberling wedding

Jessica Lynn Russau, of Damascus, Oregon, and James William Heberling, of Camas, were married July 31, 2015, at Lucy’s Garden in Ridgefield. Dr. James Avey officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Mandy Russau. She graduated from Damascus Christian High School in 2009, and Clackamas Community College in 2011. She attended Warner Pacific College in 2012, and Moody Bible Institute in 2013. She currently works for Scientific Instruments Service and Repair, a family owned and operated business.

The groom is the son of Bob and Becky Heberling. He graduated from River HomeLink in 2010, and Clark College in 2012. James earned a bachelor’s degree in K-12 teaching with an emphasis in special education. He currently works as a special education teacher at a middle school in Longview.

The maid of honor was Brittany Atkinson, best friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Hannah Heberling, sister of the groom, Emily Russau, sister-in-law of the bride, and Michelle Dunn, Kayley Guay, Holly Tannehill, Kylie Cothren and Ashley Buller, all friends of the bride.

The flower girl was Taylor Russau, niece of the bride.

The best man was Daniel Cummings, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Paul Heberling, Jonathan Heberling and Taylor Heberling, brothers of the groom, Joe Russau, brother of the bride, and Ryan Rhodes, Chris Loutzenheiser and Evan Tidball, all friends of the groom.

Bob Heberling, father of the groom, wrote, sang and performed on the acoustic guitar, “In Your Name – A Father’s Blessing – A Wedding Prayer.” This was originally written, sung and played at Bob and Becky Heberling’s wedding in 1979.

The couple spent their honeymoon at Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada, and Glacier National Park in Montana. They reside in Longview.
