Individuals who have an interest in making their businesses more environmentally friendly are invited to a networking event.
Clark County’s Green Business Program will host “Morning Blend” Thursday, from 8 to 9 a.m., at Whole Foods Market, 815 S.E. 160th Ave., Vancouver.
A Whole Foods representative will make a brief presentation about the store’s green team and the efforts to embrace sustainable practices.
The event is free, but limited to 40 participants. To pre-register, visit www.clarkgreenbiz.com/586/register.html.
The Clark County Green Business Program provides environmental assessments, resources and assistance to companies seeking structured approaches to implementing green initiatives and measuring results.
Technical assistants are available to visit businesses, perform resource audits and recommend improvements.
Clark County partners with Waste Connections, Clark Public Utilities and the City of Vancouver to provide the program free of charge to all businesses within the county.
