News A body that was recovered in the Columbia River Monday morning has been positively identified as Carla Temple.
The cause and manner of death are listed as pending by the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office, as of press deadlines.
Camas Police Officer Debrah Riedl said there were no signs of foul play.
Camas Police and Camas-Washougal Fire Department personnel were dispatched to a possible drowning Monday, at 10:41 a.m., at the 2000 block of Southeast 12th Avenue.
Riedl said the 911 caller reported finding a person floating near the docks at that location.
Temple, 62, of Camas, was known to take daily walks near the Port of Camas-Washougal marina at 24 S. “A” St., Washougal.
