News, News An anonymous donation of $17,000 will allow the Camas Municipal Pool to remain open for an extra week.
The extended season runs from Monday, Aug. 29 to Saturday, Sept. 3. During that time, open swim will be free to the public daily from 2 to 3:30 p.m., and from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
The pool, which opened for the summer season June 18, was originally scheduled to close on Aug. 27.
The the facility, which includes two pools, is located at Crown Park, 120 N.E. 17th Ave. It is the only public outdoor pool in Clark County.
