A Hawaiian feast will be served Sunday, Dec. 11, to raise money for the Meals on Wheels People.

The Mele Kalikimaka dinner, for ages 18 and older, will be served at 6:30 p.m., at 54-40 Brewing Co., in Washougal.

The doors will open at 6 p.m.

The food will include sausage and pineapple appetizers, Hawaiian chips, and a Spam and cheese appetizer.

“The dinner has kalua pork that has been cooked for 20 hours, a sweet Hawaiian chicken, coconut rice and Hawaiian macaroni salad,” said Sean Guard, who has volunteered to cook the food. “The desert is a coconut and pineapple cheesecake bar.”

The cost will be $25 for dinner. Beers, including pineapple orange guava IPA, will be available to purchase.

Guard said all of the profits, in excess of the cost of the food, will go to Meals on Wheels.

54-40 Brewing Co. is located in the Port of Camas-Washougal Industrial Park, 3801 S. Truman St., Ste. 1. To RSVP, call 844-5932.
