NNU announces dean’s list

Emily Tubberville has been named to the fall dean’s list at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho.

To be eligible, a student must earn at least a 3.5 GPA while taking at least 12 graded credits.

Harris lands on dean’s list

Lauren Harris of Camas, has been named to the fall 2015 dean’s list at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey.

To qualify for the list, a student must earn at least a 3.2 GPA and take a minimum of 12 graded credits.

Three make Linfield’s fall sememster dean’s list

Three Camas students have been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Linfield College. To be named to the dean’s list, students must earn at least 12 graded credits and have a GPA of at least 3.65.

Camas students are Kathryn Devore, Erin Tauscher and Matthew Walser.

Carroll College releases fall 2015 dean’s list

Carroll College in Helena, Montana, has released the names of students on its 2015 fall semester dean’s list.

Students include Jamie Carter of Camas; and Garrett Reynolds and Bryce Samwel of Washougal.

To be named to the list, a student must earn at least a 3.5 GPA and take at least 12 graded credits in a semester.

UNITE! hosts free parenting workshops

“Guiding Good Choices,” a free workshop offered by UNITE! Washougal Community Coalition will begin a five-week series. Class will be once a week, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, March 15, March 22, March 29 and April 12 at Gause Elementary School, 1100 34th St.

It is designed for parents of children in fourth- through eighth-grade. Dinner is included and begins at 6 p.m.

There will be $30 gas card given to each family that completes the class, along with other prize and raffle opportunities.

“Parenting Wisely,” an interactive course to empower parents with the tools necessary to engage children, will be offered at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, April 21, and Tuesday, May 17.

Topics include homework, chore avoidance, sibling conflict, disrespectful talk and undesirable peers.

Dinner will be provided starting at 5:30 p.m. Classes are held at Canyon Creek Middle School, 9731 Washougal River Road, on March 24 and May 17; and Jemtegaard Middle School, 35300 S.E. Evergreen Blvd., on April 21.
