Fire damages home in Camas

Residents escaped unharmed

Firefighters from the Camas-Washougal Fire Department (CWFD) responded to a house fire in Camas Saturday, at 8:46 a.m.

The residents were home at the time, and they all escaped unharmed.

The structure fire occurred on the north side of a two-story single family residence in the 2100 block of Northeast Everett Street.

A press release, from the CWFD, said the fire was quickly contained and knocked down without significant spread through the house. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is being investigated by the CWFD Fire Marshal’s Office.

East County Fire and Rescue and the Vancouver Fire Department assisted the CWFD.
