Gloria J. Albright

Gloria Joan Albright died on Thursday, April 20, 2017, in Washougal. She was 86.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, May 26, at 3 p.m., at Laurelwood Baptist Church, 17015 N.E. Sixth St., Vancouver, followed by a private family graveside at Washougal Memorial Cemetery.

Dennis M. Bourquin

Dennis M. Bourquin died of a cardiac arrest on Sunday, April 9, 2017, in his Camas home. He was 83.

There will be two different types of services. On May 17, at 10 a.m., the VFW will help with a memorial service at 723 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas, WA 98607.

Dennis and his wife, Genevieve, will be buried together at Willamette National Cemetery, 11800 S.E. Mount Scott Blvd., Portland, OR 97086, on July 20, at 11 a.m.

Daniel Haag Sr.

Daniel “Danny” Haag, Sr., died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at his Washougal home. He was 62.

His life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 13, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Camas-Washougal Wildlife League, 811 S.E. Leadbetter Road, Camas. Margaret I. Carroll

Margaret “Peggy” Fitzgerald Carroll died on Monday, April 24, 2017, at her Washougal home. She was 78. She was a lifelong resident of Washougal.

A party for Peggy will be held Saturday, May 13, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Homestead, located at 2561 Belle Center Road, Washougal.

Matthew P. Gillander

Matthew P. Gillander died on Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was 53. He was born Aug. 12, 1963, in Portland. Private services will be held at a later date. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of the arrangements.

Janet Hurless

Janet Hurless died Tuesday, May 9, 2017. She was 80. Services are pending at this time. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.

Jack Purdy

Jack Purdy, of Camas, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017. He was 93.

His life will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 20, at 3 p.m., at Orchard Hills Country Club in Washougal.

Violeta T. Sanford

Violeta Teresa Sanford died Wednesday, May 3, 2017, in Camas. She was 84.

A Rosary will be held on Thursday, May 11, at 6 p.m., at Brown’s Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held Friday, May 12, at 11 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 324 N.E. Oak, Camas.
