Happy reader urges Post-Record: ‘Keep printing facts’

Regarding the Aug. 31 paper: Super articles. It would seem to me that (Washougal Mayor) Sean Guard has used the Bill Clinton defense — Deny, deny, then, when the facts are known, apologize to everyone.

Once a liar, why should anyone believe the next denial? Guard did the same in 2011: Denied his use of emergency lights, then pled guilty almost one year later, after the election for mayor had been held.

Your last two editions have been exceptional. Keep printing the facts.

Harvey D. Olson, Washougal
