Kevin W.D. Jewell died Aug. 23, 2018, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was 28.

A private memorial gathering will be held for family and friends on Saturday, Sept. 8.

Steven E. Bash

Steven E. Bash died Aug. 6, 2018. He was 51.

William D. ‘Bill’ Burrese

Longtime Camas resident William D. “Bill” Burrese died July 20, 2018, in Vancouver. He was 78.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 9, at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, 1206 N.E. Birch St., Camas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to West Columbia Gorge Humane Society, P.O. Box 270, Washougal, WA 98671.

Wilma J. Waddle

Wilma Jean Waddle died Aug 7, 2018, due to a tragic fall in her home. She was 82.

Marinus P. Bergshoeff

Marinus Pieter Bergshoeff, of Camas, died Aug. 21, 2018. He was 82. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 18300 N.E. 18th St., Vancouver. Interment will follow at Fern Prairie Cemetery, 25700 N.E. Robinson Road, Camas. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation is handling the arrangements.

Wayne Young

William ‘Bill’ Whitmore

William “Bill” Whitmore died at his Washougal home Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018. He was 68.

Peggy L. Dowell

Peggy Lucille Dowell, a longtime Washougal resident, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at her home, amongst family. She was 80.
