A brewing company based in Hood River, Oregon, will soon expand its operations to the former Amnesia Brewing location in downtown Washougal.

Logsdon Farmhouse Ales’ owners John Plutshack and Jodie Ayura — a husband and wife team — have signed a 10-year lease with Lone Wolf Development for the approximately 6,500-square-foot space.

“We’re very excited about this,” Ayura said. “We will keep some production on the farm in Hood River and move the bulk, (of the production) to Washougal.”

Logsdon Farmhouse Ales, established in 2011, has received medals at the Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup for its Belgian-inspired beers. In February, the brewery earned one gold and two silver medals, as well as the “Small Brewery of the Year” recognition at the Oregon Beer Awards.

Amnesia Brewing closed in December of 2017, and Alex Smokehouse owners Alex and Carolina Ramirez have operated the restaurant and tap room.

“Going forward, Alex and Carolina’s arrangement for operation of the restaurant and tap room is with Logsdon,” said Lone Wolf Development owner Wes Hickey.

Logsdon Farmhouse Ales is located at 4785 Booth Hill Road, in Hood River. For more information about the brewery, visit Facebook, or Instagram, @logsdonfarmhouseales.
