Mother of four opens child care center in Evergreen Marketplace

Shannon Gruelle watches her son, Skyler, 4, play with toy cars, while she holds Lincoln Clifford, 13 months, at her new business, Get it out! Genuine Play, located in the Evergreen Marketplace, in Washougal. Gruelle opened the child play space and drop-in child care facility in December of 2017. She will offer half-day and full-day preschool, starting in April.

A mother of four has opened a business that caters to a segment of the population she knows well — busy parents of young children.

Shannon Gruelle, of Washougal, opened Get it out! Genuine Play, in December of 2017, to offer drop-in childcare in the Evergreen Marketplace, near Safeway, in Washougal.
