LIBRARY PROGRAMS

Camas Public Library: For those who love to sew, knit or crochet, the “Sit and Stitch” group will meet by the fireplace from 1 to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays throughout March. Read to Cooper, the dog, at the library, from 4 to 5 p.m., every Tuesday and Thursday. Each session is 15 minutes long and advanced sign-up is required. Holocaust Studies will be held Fridays, March 30 and April 6, at 1 p.m., and presented by retired Camas High School teacher Hannelore Tweed. SENIOR CITIZENS

Meals on Wheels: Lunches, prepared by The Meals on Wheels People, are served at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, in the Washougal Community Center, at 1681 “C” St., Washougal. Meals on Wheels home delivery is available Monday through Friday. Volunteers are needed. Camas Senior Center: Camas seniors will visit Bob’s Red Mill in Milwaukie, Oregon, Thursday, March 29, followed by visiting Bob’s Whole Grain Store and Restaurant. The bus will load at Pendleton Woolen Mill in Washougal at 10 a.m. The bus fee is $5, and bring money for lunch and shopping. Call LaRhea Steele at 360-433-6426 for reservations. The Camas seniors have a new casino bus schedule. This year, casino trips alternate between Nisqually Red Wind Casino and Lucky Eagle Casino. Washougal Senior Center: The Washougal Senior Center provides coffee from 9 to 11:30 a.m., and Meals on Wheels serves lunch at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday. On Mondays, at 11 a.m., the center hosts a food bank, and then at 1 p.m., there is a “hand and foot” clinic. At 10 a.m., on Mondays and Wednesdays, the center hosts an exercise class (this class is held in Camas at 10 a.m. on Fridays). Billiards is played at 1 p.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays. At 11 a.m. on Tuesdays, the center hosts “Music with Jeffree,” and at 11 a.m. on Thursdays, “Music with Gabe.” The watercolor class is held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. On Wednesdays, there will be an exercise class at 10 a.m., gift bingo at 11 a.m., and regular bingo at 1 p.m. On Thursdays, the tai chi class (held in Camas) begins at 9:30 a.m. The center also hosts pinochle at 1 p.m. on Thursdays.

Imagination Yoga: Imagination Yoga is a nationally recognized yoga program.
