CLASS REUNIONS

Camas High School “All-Class 50+” Reunion: The Camas School 50th alumni will host a catered lunch on Saturday, Aug. 25, for all former students whose classes graduated in 1968 or earlier. Class representatives will contact the alumni from each class to provide information and registration forms. Camas Public Library: Adult game night is Friday, May 18, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Make Me is a drop-in craft opportunity for students in sixth to 12th grades, and will meet from 3 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, May 22. Forever Young book group meets every second Thursday at Starbucks on 192nd Avenue, near QFC, from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Great Decisions discussions are held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on the last Wednesday of the month, now through June. The Crochet Club meets on Thursdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Young Adult room. The Bee Club meets the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon. Washougal Community Library: The Friends of the Washougal Library spring book sale is Friday and Saturday, May 18 and 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Washougal Town Square, 1700 Main St., Washougal. A bag sale will be held on Saturday from 4 to 5 p.m. All proceeds will help build a new Washougal library. SENIOR CITIZENS

Meals on Wheels: Lunches, prepared by The Meals on Wheels People, are served at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, in the Washougal Community Center, at 1681 “C” St., Washougal. Camas Senior Center: The Camas seniors are planning an overnight stay at Seven Feathers Casino Resort in Canyonville, Oregon, on Thursday, June 14. The cost of the room is $114 paid in advance, group rate. There will be bingo, keno, slots, table games, swimming and other activities. This year, casino trips alternate between Nisqually Red Wind Casino and Lucky Eagle Casino. For the month of May, the seniors will journey to Nisqually Red Wind in Olympia, Washington. Washougal Senior Center: The Washougal Senior Center provides coffee from 9 to 11:30 a.m., and Meals on Wheels serves lunch at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday. On Mondays, at 11 a.m., the center hosts a food bank, and then at 1 p.m., there is a “hand and foot” clinic. At 10 a.m., on Mondays and Wednesdays, the center hosts an exercise class (this class is held in Camas at 10 a.m. on Fridays). Billiards is played at 1 p.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays. At 11 a.m. on Tuesdays, the center hosts “Music with Jeffree,” and at 11 a.m. on Thursdays, “Music with Gabe.” The watercolor class is held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. On Wednesdays, there will be an exercise class at 10 a.m., gift bingo at 11 a.m., and regular bingo at 1 p.m. On Thursdays, the tai chi class (held in Camas) begins at 9:30 a.m. The center also hosts pinochle at 1 p.m. on Thursdays.

VOLUNTEERS

Camas Public Library: Applications are now being accepted for volunteers to help with the Summer Reading Program. Adults and teens, at least 13 years old, will be seated at the registration table in the children’s library. Volunteers must submit an application by Monday, June 11.
