‘Turkey Carnival’ is set for Nov. 16 and 17

Proceeds will purchase equipment for volunteer firefighters

An annual tradition will continue this week before Thanksgiving, that involves playing bingo, dice and wheel games and potentially winning frozen turkeys.

The 87th annual Turkey Carnival will be held from 7 p.m. to midnight, Friday, Nov. 16, and Saturday, Nov. 17, at Camas-Washougal Fire Station 43, 1400 “A” St., Washougal.

Admission is free to the family-friendly event. Cheeseburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, chips, ice cream and soft drinks will be available to purchase, and complimentary coffee will be served. There will also be raffle prizes.
