PUBLIC MEETINGS

Camas City Council: The Council will meet for a workshop at 4:30 p.m. and for a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Camas City Hall, 616 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. For more information, contact the City Clerk’s office at 360-817-1591, or visit cityofcamas.us.

Port of Camas-Washougal: The Port’s Board of Commissioners will hold a regular meeting at 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, in the Port Meeting Room, 24 S. “A” St., Washougal.

Friends and Foundation of the Camas Library: Board member positions are available and the Friends will hold a public meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at the Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. For more information, email library@cityofcamas.us.

ART GALLERIES AND MUSEUMS

Second Story Gallery: The gallery will host a two-month show by the Vagabonds, a quilting group made up of nine local artists, throughout December and January. The show, “Whispers in the Wind,” will consist of 12-inch squares stitched by Ada Levins, Joanne Adams Roth, Wilma Fletcher Scott, Audrey Prothero, Karan Brooks, Sharry Olmstead, Lynn Czaban, Beverly Woodard and Val Pellens, and runs through Jan. 25, 2020. The gallery is located on the second floor of the Camas Public Library. Art is available for viewing during regular library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. CLUBS AND GROUPS

General Federation of Women’s Clubs Camas-Washougal: The group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m., at the Camas Police Department, 2100 N.E. Third Ave., Camas.

Camas Group Recovery: The group meets from 8 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 7 to 8 p.m. on Sundays, at Camas Friends Church, 1004 N.E. Ione St.

Watercolorists group: The watercolor group meets from 1:30 to 3 p.m. every Tuesday, at the Washougal Community Center, 1681 “C” St. This is not an instructed class; however, there is a group critique at the end of the session. All are welcome.

VOLUNTEERS

Lost and Found Cafe: Meals are served to the community at 6 p.m. each Thursday, at the Zion Lutheran Church social hall, 824 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. Volunteer cooks are needed. For more information, call Inter-Faith Treasure House Executive Director Nancy Wilson at 360-834-4181.

Meals on Wheels: Drivers are needed for weekly and bi-weekly deliveries. Volunteers also are needed to work in the kitchen and as servers at the Washougal facility. For more information, call Janice Butzke at 360-210-5666 or email janice.butzke@mealsonwheelspeople.org.
