"Peacock Want a Be," a sample quilt by Joanne Adams Roth, will be part of the Vagabonds quilting group's "Whispers in the Wind" art show at the Second Story Gallery in downtown Camas throughout December and January. The show will feature 12-inch squares stitched by local quilters Ada Levins, Roth, Wilma Fletcher Scott, Audrey Prothero, Karan Brooks, Sharry Olmstead, Lynn Czaban, Beverly Woodard and Val Pellens. The gallery, located on the second floor of the Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas, will host an artists' reception from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, before the Hometown Holidays celebration in downtown Camas.
