(Kelly Moyer/Post-Record) A closed sign hangs on the outside of Arktana in downtown Camas. The city of Camas is launching its "Support Local & Save" initiative tomorrow to help businesses like the downtown Camas shoe and accessories shop survive the COVID-19 "stay at home" orders that have shuttered nonessential businesses throughout Washington through at least May 4.

A Camas initiative launching tomorrow aims to help the city’s utility payers and local merchants at the same time.

The “Support Local & Save” program, based on similar efforts happening in Newberg, Oregon, will help Camas residents lower their utility bills by shopping local.
