Visual artists are invited to apply for Washougal-Camas Open Studios, a new, juried event seeking to connect local artists in East Clark County with the regional community.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 14-15, at various artist studios throughout Camas-Washougal.
There is no cost to submit a jury entry. If accepted, participating artists must have adequate parking for attendees. Masks and physical distancing are encouraged for both artists and attendees. Artists must open up their studio and/or display area to the public during all specified Washougal-Camas Open Studios hours.
Participation in the Washougal-Camas Open Studios is intended for professional artists who are actively producing and exhibiting their work to sell.
Artists will be notified of acceptance within 48 hours of submission. If accepted, artists will receive electronic notification with information and details on where to send a $30 payment, which will be used to pay for signage that directs the community to the artist’s studio during the tour hours.
The entry deadline is Oct. 31.
Entries will be accepted by email only. Interested artists should send an entry form and three photos of recent work to Liz Pike at PikeAdvertising@comcast.net. For more information, call Pike at 360-281-8720.
