Latest News, Life, News Camas Parks and Recreation has announced the addition of program scholarships for senior citizens living in Camas and Washougal.
The City’s Parks and Recreation department has offered scholarships to youth for many years; however, the program has recently been expanded to include senior citizens. The additional scholarships were made possible thanks to generous donations from the Parks Foundation of Clark County and the Partners with Camas Parks and Recreation.
Camas Parks and Recreation will be kicking off some of their most popular programs in May including Tai Chi, Yoga, Kung Fu for Kids, Teens and Adults, Craft Workshops for Adults and Paint Workshop for Youth. More programs will be offered in the summer as staff continues to closely monitor Covid restrictions.
In addition to the Partners with Camas Parks & Recreation and the Parks Foundation of Clark County, the TODAY Foundation has also been a long-time supporter of the Camas Parks & Recreation scholarship program.
