Camas starts construction on Northeast 15th Avenue

The city of Camas awarded a $499,326 contract to Clark and Sons Excavating, Inc., of Battle Ground, to start improvements on Northeast 15th Avenue. 

The construction was expected to begin this week with work completed in mid-August. 

  • Replacing an existing 2-inch waterline with an 8-inch waterline, and installing new 1-inch copper water services to residences;
  • Installation of new curb ramps and limited sidewalks from Division Street to Northeast Everett Street;
  • Reconstruction of Northeast 15th Avenue from Division Street to Northeast Everett Street, excluding the diagonal parking areas along the north side of 15th Avenue that serve Crown Park; and 
  • Installing an asphalt slurry seal to the parking area.
