Camas Parks and Recreation Department is crafting its Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS) Plan, a framework that will guide the city’s parks and open space decisions for the next 20 years.

The current update of the PROS Plan is expected to be complete in early 2022, allowing the City to compete in the next cycle of state grant funding. The update will build on previous plans and efforts and will include a financial analysis to evaluate revenue sources against needs and recommendations.

The city is hoping to gather community input on the PROS Plan through September, starting with an online community survey that closes July 2.

Community members are asked to share their thoughts on Camas’ recreation needs through the short, online survey. The 5-minute survey is available in both English and Spanish online at surveymonkey.com/r/SBHWGVC.
