Latest News, News In response to increased service levels, the city of Camas will try a new pilot program for trash service during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
Thursday customers will now have their trash picked up on the Friday after Thanksgiving (Nov. 26) and Friday customers will have their trash picked up that Saturday (Nov. 27).
This schedule will coincide with the current Waste Connections recycling schedule. Cans will still need to be placed at the curb by 6:30 a.m. on the pickup day.
Customers who do not have their can picked up, can call the city and schedule a Monday or Tuesday pickup following the Thanksgiving holiday week.
