‘A Tail to Remember’ fundraiser for Washougal animal shelter this weekend

Annual dinner, silent auction benefit for West Columbia Gorge Human Society set for Saturday, Oct. 9, at Heathman Lodge in Vancouver

The annual "A Tail to Remember" auction to benefit the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society animal shelter in Washougal will be held this Saturday, Oct. 9, and includes an online auction.

West Columbia Gorge Humane Society will hold its annual “A Tail to Remember” fundraising dinner and auction at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver.

The event will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, “dessert dash” and live auction to raise funds for the Washougal-based nonprofit organization. It will follow COVID-19 protocols and limit attendance to 150 people.
